The Little Free Bakery is a Pickup-Only bakery box available to residents of Throggs Neck, NY. It is stocked daily with a limited supply of treats, all first-come, first-served. It operates on a lightly enforced "Pay what you can" policy to accommodate those who may have fallen on hard times and feel they still deserve a sweet treat.
Why isn't this free like the Little Free Bakery?
The money made on this site and at the markets are what keep the Little Free Bakery alive, as well as some donations from the local community. The Little Free Bakery is also Free to specifically benefit the local community who can make it to the bake box and grab what's available for the day. Here, online, these are requests that we make available to you, the customer.
Is anything Gluten-free?
No. Unfortunately, we don't have any products that are currently gluten-free. We would be happy to make any items for an additional fee on orders over $50.
Is anything Vegan?
Yes! We currently have our 100% Vegan Pumpkin Bread labeled with a (V). Our kitchen is actively working on expanding our Vegan-friendly menu and will announce when more items are available on our socials.
How often does the menu change?
Just like fashion, we'll have seasonal items that will be rotated. Some may come back, some may not. It all depends on what's trending and how well an item sells. We'll be sure to announce on our socials when items will be coming and going from the menu.
Can we suggest flavors?
Absolutely! We love hearing suggestions. While we can't guarantee every request will make it to the menu, they will definitely inspire future releases. Simply comment on any of our social posts or send us a message here on the site.
Do you offer shipping, pickup, or local delivery?
Yes! Pickup directions will be provided when the order is confirmed. Shipping availability depends on the product and location. Local delivery is only available to those who enter the code at checkout, provided at the BakeBox.
What happens is my order arrives damaged?
Contact us as soon as possible with photo evidence, and we'll work with you to resolve the issue.
